The 2007 baseball world championship was the 37th edition of the baseball world championship and took place from November 6 to 18, 2007 in Taiwan . A total of 16 teams from all over the world took part in the tournament.

World champions became the team from the United States , which prevailed 6: 3 in the final against the reigning world champion Cuba .

The group stage of the World Cup took place from November 6th to 14th, 2007 and was held in two groups of eight teams each.

The final round took place from November 16-18, 2007.
