The Basi Parung , also known as Bassi-Paroeng , Poke Paroeng or Poke Parung , is a spear from Indonesia.

The Basi Parung has a double-edged flamed blade. The blade becomes narrower from the shaft to the point and ends in a slightly bent point. The blade has a central ridge. The curve, width and length of the blade can vary. The shaft is usually made of wood. The Basi Barung is used by ethnic groups in Indonesia. It is attached to the shaft with a grommet.
