Basti (Egyptian mythology)

Basti was one of the 42 adjunct judges of the dead in Egyptian mythology , before whom one had to justify oneself after death . Each of the funeral judges was responsible for a specific crime. Basti set up the "dupe". He is mentioned in the Egyptian Book of the Dead .
