Bastien Geiger (born February 26, 1985 ) is a Swiss football player.

Career

In 2007 Geiger achieved promotion from the Challenge League to the Super League with Neuchâtel Xamax . For the 2007/08 season he moved to FC Sion .

He is the son of the former Swiss national player Alain Geiger , who also played for Xamax. Bastien Geiger plays in the position of the right full-back. Since December 2008 he played again for Xamax, his contract with FC Sion was terminated. The reason given was that the squad had to be downsized. His contract with Xamax lost its validity in January 2012 after Xamax had its license revoked and the club filed for bankruptcy a little later. By the end of the 2011/2012 season he joined the Xamax U21s, after which he moved to the Challenge League at FC Biel. In 2014 he moved from FC Biel-Bienne to FC Colombier .
