Construction site traffic

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

All traffic processes within a construction site are summarized under the term construction site traffic . A distinction can be made between passenger and vehicle traffic. Passenger traffic occurs predominantly between the workplace, warehouse or warehouse and social institutions. Vehicle traffic occurs primarily when building materials or auxiliary building materials (e.g. formwork parts) are delivered to the construction site, are transported there or are driven away.

Most of the time, especially on larger construction sites, the processes of construction site traffic are planned as part of work preparation and corresponding traffic routes are created. These include, for example, scaffolding and stairs as well as footpaths and construction roads. In this way a safe and efficient traffic flow is guaranteed. For vehicle traffic in particular, traffic regulations and driving regulations that are based on the road traffic regulations are often drawn up and incorporated into the construction site regulations.
