Presteåsen building stone
The monolith of Presteåsen stands in the garden of a farm on Tanumsvejen near the Tanum Church, (not to be confused with the hamlet Tanum Tanum in Sweden ) southwest of Larvik in Fylke Vestfold og Telemark in Norway .
The 2.5 meter high, 60–70 cm wide and 30 cm thick Presteåsen is a menhir . It has a rounded top and rough sides. The building stone was moved here from another location nearby, but the details of its original placement are unknown.
The neighboring small round hill at the cemetery has a diameter of about 12.0 m and is one meter high. It's easy to see because the grass is trimmed regularly.
