The Bavarian Vocational Training Congress (BBK) is a trade fair on the subjects of training, education and training. The target group consists of young people and their parents, teachers, education experts and politicians as well as other interested parties. The BBK took place for the tenth time in Nuremberg in December 2007 with the motto “You are your chance”. A total of 88,045 people attended the Bavarian Vocational Training Congress 2007.

The Bavarian Vocational Training Congress is organized by the Bavarian State Government under the auspices of the Bavarian State Ministry for Labor and Social Affairs, Family and Women, as well as by business organizations, business associations (vbw, BayME / VBM, etc.) and the Federal Employment Agency .

Entry is free. Visiting the BBK is recognized by the Bavarian State Ministry for Education and Culture for teachers as a further training measure.

Congress offer

In addition to exhibitions of the vocational education system, opportunities for discussion with politicians and specialists in vocational training as well as specialist lectures and workshops on current topics and application training for schoolchildren are offered.
