Bavaria's Best 50

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Every year , the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs honors particularly high-growth medium -sized companies with the Bavaria's Best 50 award . The prizes have been awarded since 2002.

The main selection criterion is that the company owner (s) must or must be represented in the management, on the board of directors or on the supervisory board; he must also hold a minimum share in the company. The company to be honored requires above-average growth in sales and number of employees in the previous five years. However, these increases must not result predominantly from the acquisition of other companies. The Birch index is used as a measure of growth.

The award will be presented at different locations, specifically in the Imperial Hall of the Munich Residence and in Schleißheim Palace . In addition to the certificate, it consists of a Bavarian porcelain lion .
