The Astra Car Co. Ltd. was a British automobile manufacturer based in Hampton Hill (Middlesex) . Only one model was made there between 1956 and 1959.

The Jarc was a small car had a two-cylinder two - stroke engine with 322 cm³ displacement from Anzani, which developed 15 bhp (11 kW) power at a speed of 4,800 min −1 . The three-door delivery van with rear-hinged doors and sheet metal side windows had only two seats. This "economy vehicle" took into account the petrol shortage caused by the Suez crisis .

With the stabilization of the political situation, this emergency solution had become superfluous.
