Western Laminates Ltd. was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company, headed by Roger Talbot, was based on New Road in Brixham . It made milk tanks and body panels for Davrian . In 1970, Richard Oakes, who previously worked for Davrian, joined the company. He designed a VW buggy . This started the production of automobiles and parts kits for kit cars . The brand name was Tramp . Production ended in 1971 when the company was liquidated . A total of about 70 to 75 copies were made.

The export took place in the USA .

The only model was a buggy. It differed from most of its British competition models, which were similar to GP's buggies . The basis was the uncut chassis from the VW Beetle .
