Sagesse Motor Company was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Matt Ritson founded the company in 1990 in Gosforth near Newcastle upon Tyne in County Tyne and Wear . He started producing automobiles and kits . The brand name was Sagesse . Production ended in 1991. In total, exactly three or about four copies were made.

The only model was the Helios . The basis was a space frame made of tubes. A body with 2 + 2 seats was mounted on it. There was a choice between a coupé and a coupé with a T-top, a kind of Targa roof . A four-cylinder engine from Ford was in mid-engine layout mounted and drove to the rear axle.
