GS Cars is a British company in the automotive and former automobile manufacturer.

Company history

The Bristol company was a Lotus Cars vehicle dealer in 1970 . The production of automobiles and kits began in 1975 under the direction of Bernard Gray. The brand name was GS . One vehicle was presented at the Earls Court Motor Show in 1975 . Production ended in 1980. A total of about 15 copies were made. The company is still active today.

Only the GS Europa model , designed by the designer William Towns , was on offer . It was based on the Lotus Europa . Pop-up headlights were attached to the front of the vehicle . The rear also differed significantly from the original model and allowed a much better all-round view. In the final year of production, a complete vehicle cost £ 5,250 .
