Cambridge Engineering was a British manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Bill Williams (1903–1964) founded the company in 1934. The seat was on Cambridge Road in the London borough of Kew . At first it was about tuning and spare parts. In 1958 the production of automobiles and kits began under the direction of Derek Thomas and Jack Brown . The brand name was Cambridge . In 1962 Speedex Castings & Accessories was taken over. Production ended in 1967. A total of about 150 copies were made.
vehicles
The only model was an open two-seater with some resemblance to MG models . The chassis of the Austin 7 formed the basis. Its four-cylinder engine powered the vehicle.
The Chippenham auction house auctioned a vehicle for £ 2,300 on April 17, 2010 .
