Douglas Car Company Limited was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Skip Pearson and Reg Talbot founded in 1991, the company in the London district of Barking . They started making automobiles and kits . The brand name was Douglas . Production ended in 1998. A total of about 15 copies were made.

Some sources give a connection to Cyprus but do not give any details.

vehicles

The only model was the TF designed by Derek Douglas. This was the replica of the MG TF . One version had the chassis of a Triumph model . Questioning came Triumph Herald , Spitfire and Vitesse . Another version had a chassis developed in-house, using many parts from the rear-wheel drive Ford Escort . The open body was made of fiberglass .
