GKD Sports Cars Limited is a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Peter Lathrope founded on 9 August 2004, the company in Lewes in the county of East Sussex . He started producing automobiles and kits in 2006 . The brand name is GKD . A total of around 65 copies have been made so far.

vehicles

The first model appeared in 2006, the Evolution . It is similar to the Ginetta G 27 from Ginetta . The open body offers space for two people. The S version has an engine from Ford and the S 2 an engine from BMW . Around 25 vehicles have been built so far.

The Legend has been part of the range since 2008 . This is a two-seater roadster in the style of the Lotus Seven . The engine comes from the BMW 3 Series . There is a choice of four-cylinder engines and, in the Legend, six six-cylinder engines . This model has found around 40 buyers so far.
