The first model R 42 was taken over by GTD . This was a supercar inspired by Group C racing cars . The basis was a monocoque. A coupé body was mounted on it. A V8 engine from Ford with a displacement of 4600 cc and 350 hp was mounted in a mid-engine design behind the seats and drove the rear axle. The maximum speed was given as 280 km / h. Between 1994 and 1997, between 16 and 36 copies of this model were made.
The successor model R 45 was slightly revised in terms of chassis and body, better equipped and, in contrast to the pop-up headlights of the previous model, had fixed headlights.
