Evanta Motor Company Limited is a British manufacturer of automobiles and restoration operation .

Company history

Evan John Herbert founded on 22 April 2008, the company in Tewin in the county of Hertfordshire . He started with the production of automobiles. The brand name is Evanta . Anthony Richard Anstead joined the company on February 24, 2009 and is now a partner and director.

The company makes vehicles that resemble historical models. According to the manufacturer, there are no direct replicas .

The R 1 was a 1950s-style open-top two-seater racing car and was similar to the Aston Martin DBR 1 . A six-cylinder engine from Jaguar Cars powered the vehicles. The auction house Silverstone Auctions auctioned on May 24, 2014, a vehicle produced in 2013 with the British hallmark XEZ 909 for 63,250 pounds .

The GT presented in 2012 is a sporty coupe of the same time that was inspired by the Aston Martin DB 4 GT Zagato . The engine, suspension and brakes came from the Aston Martin DB 7 Vantage . The V12 engine with a displacement of 5900 cc produced over 400 hp .

The Barchetta is a two-seater roadster . A prototype was presented on May 18, 2013 in Monaco , and the later production model on September 12, 2014 at the Goodwood Revival . A tubular frame forms the basis. A body made of Kevlar or, for an additional charge, aluminum is mounted on top. A V8 engine from Chevrolet with a displacement of 6200 cc and 450 hp drives the vehicle. According to the manufacturer, the number of pieces is limited to 49.
