Silhouette Cars was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Sue Winter and Colin Winter, previously at Jaguar Cars has worked, founded the company in 1987 in Corby in the county of Northamptonshire . They started making automobiles and kits . The brand name was Silhouette . Production ended in 1989. A total of about 23 copies were made.

It was not affiliated with Silhouette Cars Limited , which used the same brand name in the 1970s.

vehicles

The only model who was SC 5000 S . This was the replica of the Lamborghini Countach . A spaceframe with a steel frame formed the basis. A fiberglass coupé body was mounted on top. Various V6 , V8 and V12 engines powered the vehicles.
