Troll Engineering Company Limited was a British manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Peter James made a prototype in 1980 . He received orders to build more vehicles. But in 1987 he founded the company in Minehead in the county of Somerset in the production of automobiles and kits . The brand name was Troll . Production ended in 1992. Terry Nightingale Autocraft took over the project from 1995 to 1999, but did not manufacture anything. A total of about 31 copies were made.
vehicles
Vehicles for trials were on offer . They were similar to the Lotus Seven , but had an increased ground clearance of around 20 cm. The vehicles were based on a spaceframe. The open two-seater body was made of aluminum and fiberglass . The front fenders were designed to be steering. A four-cylinder engine from Ford with 1,700 cc displacement and 115 hp power drove many of the vehicles.
