Maelstrom is a British car brand.

Brand history

1986 Mike Eydman founded the company Maelstrom Cars in Preston in the county of Lancashire . He started producing automobiles and kits . The brand name was Maelstrom . Production initially ended in the same year. PACE from Lancaster in Lancashire continued production from 1990 to 1992 while retaining the brand name. This was followed by Evans Hunter Sports Cars from Barnsley in South Yorkshire from 1993 to 1994 and White Rose Vehicles from Gillingham in Kent from 1998 to 2002 . BWE Sportscars has been manufacturing the vehicles and kits since 2002 . A total of about eleven copies have been made so far.

Only one model is available. A lattice frame made of steel forms the basis. An open two-seater body made of aluminum and fiberglass is mounted on top . Many parts come from the Ford Cortina and Ford Sierra .
