Hudson Component Cars was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

1990 Ray Webb founded the company in Norwich in the County of Norfolk . He started producing automobiles and kits . The brand name was Hudson . Production ended in 1999. Wizard Cars continued production while maintaining the brand name until 2003. A total of about 18 copies were made.

The Free Spirit was a tricycle with a single rear wheel. The basis was a special tubular space frame. An open, single-seat plastic body was mounted on top. Many parts such as the four-cylinder engine came from the Renault 5 .

The similar Kindred Spirit was a bit longer and offered space for two people in a row. He was a little more successful. By 2003, around 17 copies of the two models were made.

The Mystic had four wheels and a large rear wing. Although offered from 1992 to 1993, it remained a one-off.

In addition, a small roadster named Rose was presented in 1994 .
