Skyspeed was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company from Heston in the London Borough of Hounslow began selling GP vehicles in 1969 . In the same year the company's own production of automobiles began. The brand name was Skyspeed . Production ended in 1972. A total of about five copies were made.

vehicles

The only original model was the buggy . This was a VW buggy that was similar to the GP buggy. The vehicle was luxuriously equipped and was completely delivered.

distribution

In addition to the GP buggies, Skyspeed also sold 25 copies of the Humbug . Design Field from Acton under the direction of Paul Cockburn and Bob King manufactured add-on parts for the VW Beetle that gave the vehicle a different look. This included other fenders , headlights, and bumpers .
