Mirage Replicas Limited was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Gary Thompson, who previously Venom Cars headed, and Phil Cheetham founded in 1988, the company in Wellingborough in the county of Northamptonshire . They started making automobiles and kits . The brand name was Mirage . From 1991 Cheetham managed the company alone. Production ended in 2002.

DH Supercars , led by Dave Harrison and Clive Dingwall, continued production from 2004 to 2007 while retaining the brand name.

A total of about 70 copies were made.

vehicles

The only model was the Countach Replica , a replica of the Lamborghini Countach . A spaceframe chassis formed the basis. A fiberglass coupé body was mounted on top. Various engines from Ford Granada and Ford Scorpio , V6 engines from Renault , V8 engines from Chevrolet and Rover, and V12 engines from Jaguar Cars powered the vehicles.
