Brand history

A little later the move to Torpoint in Cornwall took place . This is where the company's own production of automobiles and kits began . The brand name was Bonito .

Graham Keane ran AED International . Its headquarters were either in Torpoint or in Bristol . It continued production from 1983 to 1984. This was followed by the Bonito Performance Center from Torpoint from 1984 to 1985.

Seraph Cars from Bristol under the direction of John Grossart took over the project in 1985, developed it further and continued production until 1987. He used the brand name Seraph . A total of about 63 copies were made.

vehicles

Only one model was on offer. The chassis of the VW Beetle formed the basis . A coupé body was mounted on it. The vehicle was similar to the Ford GT 40 . The windshield came from the Ford P 6 and the rear window from the Opel Rekord .

AED also manufactured an open vehicle on this basis, which remained a one-off.
