Power on Wheels was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

A. Harrington (Adrian or Aidan, depending on the source), who previously worked at Connaught Cars , and Roy King founded the company in Send in 1969 and began manufacturing automobiles. The brand names were Harrington & King's and Manta . Production ended in September 1971. In total, more than 50 copies were made. C & D Automarine was involved in the production.

The only model was the Sports Buggy . This VW buggy was on offer from 1969 to 1970. It was similar to GP's buggy . A total of 15 copies were made.

Brand name Manta

The only model was the Manta Ray . This buggy from 1969 was based on a shortened chassis from the VW Beetle . Of the first version, 40 copies were made in eight months. The second version appeared in August 1970 and sold even better. In 1971 Power on Wheels stopped production, which JB Developments continued from 1972.
