An open body in the style of a beach wagon, which was made of fiberglass and was one-piece, was mounted on it . The two-cylinder engines came from the Fiat Nuova 500 and Fiat 126 and were arranged in the rear. The wheelhouses, which were initially square, were round from 1984 onwards. In some versions, the spare wheel was on the front hood. Some vehicles had one windshield wiper , others two. The model name IMPALA was in capital letters between the headlights. A kit cost £ 626 the first year .
