Lynx Kit Cars was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Jim Peters, Nick Rodgers and Steve Ahern founded in 1985, the company in Westcliffe-on-Sea in the county Essex . They started making automobiles and kits . The brand name was Lynx . Production ended in 1986. A total of about seven copies were made.

There was no association with Lynx , which used the same brand name.

vehicles

The only model was the bobtail . The basis was a solid chassis . It was a colored body made of fiberglass mounted. It was an open recreational and multi-purpose vehicle. Doors, weather protection and hardtop were available for an extra charge. Many parts came from the Ford Capri .
