Jackson's Kustom Buggies was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

John Jackson founded the company in 1970 's Acton Green, London, and began manufacturing automobiles. The brand name was Kustom Buggy . Production ended in 1972. A total of about 30 copies were made. The company also sold Essex Proto Conversions vehicles .

The export took place to Cyprus .

The only buggy model was a VW buggy . The basis was the shortened chassis from the VW Beetle . In 1970 a finished vehicle cost from £ 449 .
