Connaught Motor Company Limites was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Edward Timothy Bishop and Anthony Martindale founded on 29 June 2002, the company in Kidderminster in the county of Worcestershire . They started producing automobiles in 2005. The brand name is Connaught , based on Connaught Engineering . In 2007 a technology center opened in Llanelli , Wales . Bishop and Martindale gave up their directorship on March 28, 2007 and were replaced by Frederick William Austin Page-Roberts. Jonathan Mark Bevan and Geoffrey Leonard Matthews were also appointed directors on November 14, 2007, Christopher James Withington on February 26, 2008, and Kevin Eric Eagling on July 1, 2009. Bevan and Eagling were appointed on May 12, 2011 by Timothy Bishop, Roy Irish and Anthony Martindale replaced. The company was dissolved on March 1, 2016.

The company sold six vehicles in the first year.

The Type-D GT Syracuse appeared as the first model . A V10 engine with a capacity of 2000 cm³ produces 300 hp with the help of a compressor . The maximum speed of the four-seater coupé is specified as 270 km / h.

With a hybrid drive which is Type-D h equipped, based on the Type-D GT Syracuse.
