NG (car brand)
NG was a British car brand.
Brand history
Nick Green lived in New Milton in the county of Hampshire . He ran the Speedwell Motor Company there and founded NCG Design in 1979 , later renamed NG Cars . He started producing automobiles and kits in 1979 . The brand name was NG . Speedwell Motor Company ceased production in 1983, and Spectra Cars from London tried to reissue their model in 1985.
The TA Motor Car Company (TAMCC for short) from Rotherham in South Yorkshire took over the production of a model in 1987.
NG Cars was dissolved in 1989 and Rotherham's Pastiche Cars continued production until 1991. This company existed from November 11, 1988 to January 9, 1996. Pastiche Motor Company used the brand name Pastiche .
This was followed by GTM Cars from Sutton Bonington in Nottinghamshire until 1993, NG Cars Limited from Epsom in Surrey until 2000 and NG Cars (IGI Group) from New Milton until 2002.
From 2002 Findhorn Cars manufactured the vehicles from Petersfield in Hampshire. This company was dissolved on February 21, 2012.
A total of over 2000 copies were made.
