Gaia Cars was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

1994 Guy Dormehl founded the company in Dibden Purlieu in the county of Hampshire . He started producing automobiles and kits . The brand name was Gaia . As of 1997, the company was based in Parkstone in Dorset . In 2001 Jon Ridd took over the company. Production ended in 2002. A total of about eleven copies were made. Other sources give the start of production as 1996 and the end of production as 1999.

The only model was the Deltoid . This was a tricycle with a rear single wheel. The drive and rear wheel were from a motorcycle , usually Suzuki . A body made of fiberglass was mounted on a spaceframe .
