Broadspeed Engineering Limited or Broadspeed Limited was a British manufacturer of automobiles and tuners .

Company history

The company was located in Sparkbrook near Birmingham . In the 1960s, the company was active in racing. From 1966 to 1968 and from 1965 to 1969, it produced automobiles designed by Ralph Broad. The brand name was Broadspeed . A total of 28 copies were made. The company was still active as a tuning company in the 1970s and launched a turbocharger for Ford Capri and Ford Granada .

On offer were the GT and GTS models, which differed in terms of the engine. The Mini formed the basis . The coupé body offered space for 2 + 2 people. In the GTS, the four-cylinder engine developed 140 hp .
