Roadrunner Racing Limited is a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Kevin Hickling founded on 19 October 2007, the company in Rotherham in the county of South Yorkshire . Debra Linda Hickling-Smith was also with the company. They started making automobiles and kits . The brand name is Roadrunner . On January 12, 2010 they were replaced by the new director Stephen Holland. He resigned from his post on December 19, 2010 to Michael Longstaff. Nick Wallis and Philip Lewis Clark became additional directors on January 1, 2011. On June 28, 2011, the company moved to Brough , East Riding of Yorkshire . Clark resigned from his post on October 18, 2012.

A total of about 36 copies have been made so far.

vehicles

The first model was the Sprint in the versions R and SR-1 . This model was adopted by MK Sportscars in 2007 . It was an open, single-seat formula racing car, but street legal. A motorcycle engine from the Yamaha R 1 propelled the vehicles. This model had about 20 buyers by 2009.

The SR 2 has existed since 2010 . This is a two-seater roadster in the style of the Lotus Seven . The engine comes from the Mazda MX-5 . About 16 vehicles of this model have been built so far.

The company itself also mentions the LM 1 , a racing sports car that is only available as a finished vehicle.
