Fleur de Lys Automobile Manufacturing Limited was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company based in Newark-on-Trent in the county of Nottinghamshire began in 1983 with the production of automobiles. The brand name was Fleur de Lys . Dionysios Andreas Liveras, Iain Robertson Muir and Kyriacos Kyriacou were the directors. Production ended in 1994.

vehicles

Initially only commercial vehicles with the model name Newark in the style of the 1920s were in the range. The idea for this came from Andreas Liveras, while Len Terry designed the vehicle. The vehicles were powered by a four-cylinder Ford engine with a capacity of 2000 cc . Many vehicles were used for advertising purposes. Several vehicles were exported.

It was not until 1991 that the production of passenger cars began in the same style. The models mentioned are Lincoln and Belgravia . The Lincoln was a sedan that was also available as a kit car . About six of them were made. The Belgravia was a landaulet . Its new price was around 150,000 DM .
