Peter Sheen was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Wine merchant Peter Sheen began producing automobiles and kits in his Kingston upon Hull company in 1964 . The brand name was Sheen . The presentation of the first model took place at Brands Hatch in September 1964 . Production ended in 1965 because Chrysler no longer supplied any parts despite the contract. Sheen sold two copies in total.

The only model was the Imperator GTS . This was a coupe . The body was made of aluminum and was manufactured by The Robert Peel Company in the same location. Many parts like the chassis came from the Hillman Imp . Its four-cylinder engines were available for the drive . In the basic version of the engine from Nathan and Willy Griffith was on 70 hp tuned . The top engine was an engine prepared by Paul Emery with a displacement of 1147 cm³ and an output of 105 hp.

A model with a cheaper fiberglass body was also planned .

The vehicle with the British registration number 961 KOR still exists.
