Brightwheel Replicas Limited was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

1986 Ken Cook founded the company in Christchurch in the county of Dorset . He started producing automobiles and kits with the help of his son Chris . The brand name was Brightwheel . Production ended in 1989. A total of about 285 copies were made. Cobretti took over the production of the best-selling model. Ken Cook founded Classic Replicas in 1989 .

vehicles

The first Viper model was available from 1986 to 1989. This was a replica of an AC Cobra that Sheldonhurst previously made. The suspension came from the Ford Granada . There was a choice of Granada engines, six-cylinder engines from Ford , V8 engines from Rover and V12 engines from Jaguar Cars With the Viper 4 , many parts from the Ford Cortina ensured that the vehicle was one of the cheaper offers on the market. About 260 copies of all Viper models were made.

In 1988 the CR 6 added to the range, which was later renamed the Stinger . The basis was a tubular space frame. A coupé body was mounted on it. It was a replica of the Lamborghini Countach . Around 25 copies were made by 1989.
