vehicles
Mallalieu
These vehicles were based on the chassis of the Bentley Mark VI . A new body was mounted on it. The Barchetta Open Tourer model appeared in 1974 and cost from £ 9,950 . The vehicle took four months to build. Mercia , later renamed Oxford , was a two-seater. It took six months to build. The price was from £ 15,000. Another source cites DM 200,000 without naming the model. Many vehicles were exported to the USA .
In 1978, the company advertised in issues 1 and 3 of the German-language classic car magazine Automobil- und Motorrad-Chronik to also manufacture left-hand drive vehicles to order . The Düsseldorf car dealership Auto Becker offered the vehicles.
On September 14, 2013, the Bonhams auction house auctioned an Oxford for 66,354 euros .
Microdot
The Microdot was a development by William Towns in 1976. Mallalieu made this model between 1980 and 1981. It was a microcar. There was a choice of petrol engines from the Mini and Reliant as well as various two-stroke engines . With prices of £ 4,000 for the basic version and £ 7,000 for the luxury version, the vehicle was too expensive to be successful in the market.
