Concept Developments was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

1974 Peter Timpson founded the company in Market Harborough in the county of Leicestershire . He started producing automobiles and kits . The brand name was Centaur . Production ended in 1978. A total of about 25 copies were made.

Mirage Developments from Biggin Hill continued production under the brand name Pulsar .

vehicles

Only one model series was on offer. The chassis was as vehicles of Marcos Engineering partly of plywood . A fiberglass body was mounted on top. The four-cylinder engine came from the Hillman Imp and was mounted in the rear. The vehicle was something of a successor to the Probe 16 from Adams Probe Motor . Instead of side doors, a hinged, hinged roof provided access to the interior. The body offered space for two people. A variant with 2 + 2 seats was added later. A version as a convertible called Condor remained a prototype .
