Freestream was a British automobile manufacturer based in Leamington Spa (Warwickshire) from 2000-2006 . The founders were former McLaren employees Graham Halstead and Ben Scott-Geddes .

The two had previously worked on the McLaren F1 project and now wanted to build a street-legal racing car. The Freestream T1 was designed. In April 2006 the company was taken over by the Indian Caparo group . The new company was called Caparo Vehicle Technologies and the Freestream T1 became the Caparo T1 .
