Kara Sports Cars was a British manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Richard and Peter Sellicks Baisden founded in 1991, the company in Southend-on-Sea in the county Essex . They started making automobiles and kits . The brand name was Kara . Production ended in 1993. Mercury Motorsport , RS Automotive and RS Motorsport continued production under their own brand names. A total of about 115 copies have been made so far.
vehicles
The only model was the 430 . It was inspired by the Ford RS 200 . A spaceframe formed the basis. Suspension, steering and brakes came from the Ford Sierra . Various four-cylinder engines and V6 engines from Ford , V6 engines from Renault and V8 engines powered the vehicles.
