from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Dri-Sleeve Car Co. was a British automobile manufacturer that was only based in Warminster (Wiltshire) in 1970 .

The Dri-Sleeve was a replica of the Bugatti Type 35 . The car had a specially designed chassis that was equipped with the GT engine of the Ford Capri . The four-cylinder in-line engine with overhead camshaft ( Ford Kent engine ) had a displacement of 1.6 l.

The car was quite expensive at around £ 3,000 and therefore could not even establish itself in its narrow market segment.
