Eduard Ignaz Nels

Eduard Ignaz Nels (born March 2, 1833 in Bitburg ; † October 15, 1906 in Prüm ) was a leather manufacturer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Nels was a leather manufacturer in Prüm. He was a member of the Rhenish Provincial Parliament and the Provincial Committee from 1888, as well as a district deputy of the Prüm district. From 1870 to 1873 and from 1880 to 1893 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives , in which he represented the constituency of Koblenz District 1 ( Daun - Prüm - Bitburg ).

Between May 1891 and 1893 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Trier 1 Daun , Bitburg , Prüm and the German Center Party . There is Eduard-Nels-Strasse in Prüm.
