The Beauford Cars Ltd. is a British car manufacturer based in Upholland, Lancashire and Stoke-on-Trent (Staffordshire) since 1985 . He makes kit cars .

The first vehicles were built in 1985 based on the Mini , with the passenger compartment later being replaced by a GRP body. It is mounted on a ladder frame. A long bonnet with curved fenders is attached to the front, giving the impression of a luxury car from the 1930s. The cart can be fitted with a number of engines, e.g. B. from Ford , Nissan or Rover . The wheel suspension of the Ford Sierra is available as an option .

Both open and closed versions are available. These vehicles are particularly valued as “wedding carriages”.

Trivia

A Beauford limousine was used in the movie The Mummy (1999) .
