Triking Sports Cars Limited , previously Triking Cyclecars , is a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Anthony Divey, who previously for Lotus Cars has worked, founded in 1978, the company Triking cyclecars in Marlingford in the county of Norfolk . He started producing automobiles and kits . The brand name is Triking . In 1989, Alan Layzell joined the company. In 1992 the hundredth vehicle was ready. Alan Layzell took over the company in 2009, renamed it Triking Sports Cars and moved to Hingham , also in Norfolk. A total of around 187 copies have been made so far.

The only model is a tricycle with a rear single wheel. It is considered a modern take on Morgan's tricycle . A V2 engine from Moto Guzzi is mounted in the front of the vehicle and drives the rear wheel via a cardan shaft . The range includes engines with 844 cm³ displacement and a choice of 68 HP or 85 HP as well as an engine with 950 cm³ displacement and 71 HP output.
