Tici Sales Ltd. ( Spelling TiCi Sales Ltd. ) was a British manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Anthony Hill made a prototype back in 1969 . In 1972 he founded the company at 6 Mansfield Road in Sutton-in-Ashfield and began producing automobiles. The brand name was Tici ( proper spelling TiCi ). Stirling Moss and Raymond Mays promoted the company. Production ended in 1973. There were six buyers each in Spain and Japan . The buyers included Clive Sinclair and Romeo Challenger of Showaddywaddy . A total of about 40 copies were made.
vehicles
The prototype had an engine from the Triumph Daytona 500 from Triumph Motorcycles with a displacement of 500 cc . The length was only 182 cm.
The series version was slightly longer at 226 cm. Many parts came from the Mini , such as the front subframe and the rear engine. The body was made of fiberglass .
