Nickri Laminates was a British manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The company was based on North Road in the Romford district of London . In 1958 the production of automobiles and kits began . The brand name was Nickri . Production ended in 1963. A total of around 475 vehicles were built.

The first model was the Excell , which was also featured in Car Mechanics in 1958 . Chassis from Ford Eight and Ford Ten formed the basis. A fiberglass body was mounted on top. 100 copies were made between 1958 and 1959.
Of the further development Spyder , a two-seater roadster built in 1959 and 1960 , 250 units were sold.
The Alpine followed in the spring of 1960 . It was similar to the model from TWM Engineering Company . A reinforced body gave the car more strength and rigidity. 50 copies were made within a year.
The Challenger was based on its own ladder frame . It was suitable for the engine from the Ford Prefect (E 93 A) . 50 units were sold between 1961 and 1962.
The last model was the Coupé Champion , which appeared in 1962 and was discontinued in 1963. It was similar to the Alpine . However, it offered space for four people. This model was built 25 times.
