The Ford Eight (or Ford 7Y ) was a small car that Ford England produced from 1938 to 1939.

It was the successor to the Model Y and had a new, slightly larger body . The car was powered by a side-controlled inline four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 933 cm³ .

After a small revision at the end of 1939, the first Ford Anglia was created . In two years, 65,098 Ford Eight Type 7Y were produced.
