The Ford Super Deluxe was a car model from Ford , which was built from 1941 to 1942 as a top model, parallel to the Standard and Deluxe models . After the Second World War it revived in 1946–1948.

In September 1940 Ford presented the successor to the V8 with the option of the well-known V8 engine with 3,621 cc and 90 bhp (66 kW) output at a speed of 3,800 rpm. or a new six-cylinder in-line engine with 3,700 cm³ displacement and the same output, but already at 3,300 rpm.
The Super Deluxe was the top model and was available as a 2- or 4-door sedan, 2-door coupé with 3 or 4 seats, 2-door sedan-coupé, 2-door convertible with 4 seats or 5-door station wagon.
The 1942 model year was severely shortened because the United States entered the war . The production of civil vehicles ended at Ford, as well as at the other vehicle manufacturers in the USA, in March 1942. In that year, the cars of the 1941 year were built without major changes. A total of 482,619 Super Deluxe were built in two years.

The first post-war models were presented in September 1945. The Super Deluxe essentially corresponded to the pre-war model and received a revised grille. The V8 engine had been drilled out to 3,916 cm³ and now made 100 bhp (74 kW) at 3,800 rpm.
In 1947 there were no changes. In 1948 the six-cylinder engine delivered 5 bhp more with the same displacement.
In three years, 976,972 Super Deluxe were created. In the following year, the Ford Custom replaced the Super Deluxe.
