The Ford Custom Deluxe was an upper middle class passenger car manufactured by Ford in the USA in the model years 1950 and 1951 . It was one of the successors to the Ford Super Deluxe and represented the top model. Like its sister model Deluxe , it had an in-line six-cylinder engine with 3703 cm³ displacement, which made 95 bhp (70 kW) at 3600 rpm. Alternatively, a V8 engine was available that drew an output of 100 bhp (74 kW) at 3600 rpm from a displacement of 3917 cm³.

The vehicles were available as a 2-door coupe, 2-door convertible, 2-door sedan, 4-door sedan or as a 5-door station wagon. The cabriolet was only available with a V8 engine. The models in the shape of a pontoon showed the typical globe in the grill in 1950, this detail was omitted again in 1951.

A remarkable 1,611,134 copies were made in two years. In the 1952 model year, the Customline and Crestline models replaced the Custom Deluxe.
