Rear view

During the course of its construction, the Mazda Demio underwent a slight facelift:

In spring 2000 the new version came on the market; with changed headlights and aprons, a revised interior with new colors and exterior paintwork. The so-called 5-point radiator grille, which is typical of Mazda models, was also introduced.

Other features included a different bonnet, new shock absorbers, reinforced noise insulation, a new electronically controlled automatic system available in the 1.5-liter models, and electronic power steering.

particularities

The interior of the car is particularly variable. The rear seat can be moved by 12 centimeters (trunk depending on the position 330-365 liters) and by folding down the front seats a 2.03 meter long bed surface is created. The maximum trunk volume is 1298 liters and the maximum payload is 440 kg.
